It's always enjoyable when scouting for new locations and I'd had my eye on this area ever since we moved to the Bellarine Peninsula.  The stretch of coastline here is different to the majority of the surrounding area, with the large volcanic rocks replacing the usual sandstone.  It took me 2 or 3 visits to get a feel for the compositions on offer but this one was obvious almost immediately.  It was simply then a case of waiting for the right overhead conditions which eventually appeared a few visits later.
